Swearing in

Dustin is officially an attorney! He finished up his moral paperwork and took his oath. Now all he has to do is wait for his membership card =). To celebrate we went out to dinner at El Pollo Inka (yummy!)

Who is smarter? Hmmm, he's definately more logical =). I'd say Dustin though.
Who sings better? We are pretty equal in our excellent singing abilities- although he can really wail in Rock band =)

Easter Weekend

Well, we had quite the Easter Weekend. On saturday we went to Legoland (really fun). That night was our friend Emily's birthday party and we went out to dinner and had a bonfire on the beach. Sunday we got to see our friends, The Hatches, bless their baby in our old ward. Finally we ended up in Lake Arrowhead for Easter. We had such a fun and busy weekend! Unfortunately, we left the camera at The Fenns, so here is the only pic I have to share =). (I'll post the other ones when we get the camera back)

Concert at The Grove

Almost every Thursday The Grove in LA has a fun activity for kids. This was our first time going and we saw a raging concert by The Country Bumpkins. Chloe had a fun time dancing to the music, watching the water fountain, and playing with dolls at the American Girl Store.

Our Spiritual Giant =)

Chloe loves looking at the statues and pictures of Jesus. It's so sweet because she'll actually carry around and hug this wood sculpture of Jesus. Here she is showing off her new word:

AOTW #23: Mother's Beach

I have been meaning to take Chloe here for awhile since Mother's Beach is the half marathon turn around for the LA Leggers (the club I trained with for the marathon). It's a neat little beach in Marina Del Rey with playgrounds and volleyball courts. Chloe had a fun time playing with her new sand toys, she even helped another little girl build a castle (see pic).



After the beach we went on a walk over to look at the boats. Pretty sure we also saw some of the Dallas Cowboy football guys training (The trainer called them the Cowboys anyways). Plus they were huge and their were people filming them.

MEGA Weekend Update

We had quite the fun filled weekend. On Friday we went over to Wizard World over at the LA convention center. It's basically just a "all things nerd" convention (Star Wars, Comic Books, Swords,etc.) My personal highlight was the Saber Wars, where people fought with light sabers. There was this one guy who did a solo fight, it was absolutely fantastic!




We even saw some "celebrities" including the original HULK (from the TV series), The wrestler Mankind (the one tha wrestles with a sock on his hand =) ), and Tommy "Gun" Morrison from Rocky.


On Saturday we took the kids to an Easter Eggstravaganza in Thousand Oaks. Chloe absolutely loved the Easter Egg Hunt, I wasn't sure if she would know what to do, but she caught on quick and had a great time putting the eggs in her basket. The girls also had a fun time jumping in the moon bounce and playing with the baby goats.

You Got to Pray Just to Make it Today

Chloe learned how to pray and it is so adorable. A couple of nights ago we forgot to bless dinner and we look over at Chloe and she's just sitting there with her arms folded not touching her food. She loves saying the amen at the end. I'm so glad she can give us the little reminder to say our prayers, here is a video of her demostrating her praying abilities =):

Family Fun Weekend

The whole Adams Clan (minus my mom) is in town! We had a great weekend with everyone! Friday we rode the razor scooter around, Chloe is already thinking of going pro. That night the guys played volleyball while we watched and then we were off to Chuys for a late night dinner.



Saturday, Kelda , Chloe and I went to a Crafts fair in Newbury Park. Chloe is obsessed with her Aunt Kelda, it was pretty funny because Chloe would never let Kelda get too far away =). It's also cute to see all the cousins together! Chloe and Reagan are getting more and more interactive, and Chloe loves giving Merrick kisses.

AOTW #21: Boone Children's Gallery

Well we finally made it back to the Boone Children Gallery this morning. I have to admit I was very impressed, they have lots of common items (pipe cleaner, cds, boxes, etc.) and you get to turn it into art. Chloe had a great time with the glue! They even have painting, blocks, books, and coloring. You also can't beat that it's free!

You're Killing me Smalls!

So on saturday,I was out to lunch with my mom and what do I see, Girl Scout Cookies! I think looong and hard and decide against buying them since I know the flesh is weak, and I can never just eat one cookie at a time.

Later that day Dustin walks with 3 boxes of Girl Scout cookies! And guess who has to stay home with them just calling my name from the kitchen? Yup, that's me. Oh well, at least they only sell them once a year =).

Happy Brithday Dustin!

We have had a rather nice weekend thus far. On Friday we went house hunting and found a place we really like in Thousand Oaks- so we will see how that pans out. We also went out to eat with my parents, Chloe is sooo funny about my dad. She says "papoo" all the time and at dinner she kept smiling at him and rubbing his arm =).

Saturday was Dustin's birthday, his brother Brian came out and they went golfing. I spent the morning locked out of my parents house. Luckily, Chloe and I had the car keys so I just listened to the radio (Bill Handle's legal advice) for an hour or so. That night Dustin's parents met us at PF Changs and we had a lovely brithday dinner. The Big 3-1! Happy Brithday Dustin, I love you!
