Potty Training-updated

Chloe decided to start wearing undies, wish us luck! We are on day two...more to come ;).

3 days

After a month watching her cousin use the toilet Chloe decided she wanted to wear underwear too. I was reluctant at first with the move and all- but *fingers crossed* she's doing really well. Actually she's kind of been training herself, she'll just walk into the bathroom and next thing I hear is her peeing. She even did her first dreaded #2 on her own- I just heard a little voice from the bathroom "mommy I did a poo!". She is pretty darn proud of herself and I'm glad so far it hasn't been the hours in the bathroom like I imagined. She's even done a trip to Target and out to a fast food dinner accident free. Although she has had one accident when she was watching her new princess movie and she just looked over at me all confused and said "mommy I'm all wet ;)."

Okay some questions, what do they wear at night? Diapers? Pull ups? For long car trips do you bring a toliet in the car? or put them in pull ups?

Favorite Quote from Chloe: "Do you want to see my pee?"

It's the final Coutdown!!

I haven't done a house update- so yes everything is going well! The loan took about a week longer than expected ( I guess the banks are slow right now) Anyho, today we are doing a the final walkthrough- so we get to see our place with flooring and appliances! We are signing the closing documents today or Monday, Dustin is going to paint for a day or so, and then *fingers crossed* we should be moving in mid week.

After renting for the past 5 years- pretty sure there aint going to be a white wall in the place ;)!

Wonderful Weekdays

Monday: We went to a farm to pick strawberries with Aunt Kelda. Lilah loves being outside, so she was pretty content picking at the grass. She is starting to get excited to see animals too.

Tuesday: Cookies and Crafts, it a fun little idea at a local candy shop. For $5 they give you a cookie, milk, and a craft. Chloe had a blast decorating a wooden Tinkerbell and mommy was happy Chloe didn't want her cookie.

Wednesday: The library had a little event called "Chalk it out" where they give you a bucket of sidewalk chalk and you get to draw on the sidewalk. Chloe loved it and even got to read books afterwards.

Laughing and Lakers

We had another fun and busy weekend...

Birthday Game Night: For my brother's birthday we played games at his place. We actually played this really fun mini-frisbee golf game. Dustin took home the gold while I defeated Kelda in the battle over who takes last place.

Pinnochio in the Park: We took the girls to see a litte theatre group act out Pinnochio. The fairy was definitely their favorite.

Joel McHale (The Soup host): We got an adult night out, so we headed down to LA to see some stand up-comedy. My brother Chris said it was worth it if we laughed more than 3 times, but seriously I think we were pretty much cracking during his whole performance. There was even a mormon joke for us ;). Thanks soooo much Emily for babysitting!

Laker Party!: We had a Laker party on Sunday. Dust rented a moonbounce for the weekend- so the cousins had a blast on that. It was also a really good game for a party!

Bound to Happen?

So I was at the DMV- did you know your license expires? News to me, luckily I've only been driving with an expired license for 10 months- haha. Anyho while I was gone, my mom was watching the girls, and Chloe turned on her skissor-dar and found skissors my mom hadn't seen in years. Well of course snip, snip, bye bye hair.

Chloe doesn't seem to think she did anything wrong since she told her Aunt Kelda, "I look so pretty now"

Busy Bodies

During the past 3 days...

Gym Open House: Took Chloe to a local gym where the had an open house. It was actually really neat- the UCLA girls gymnastics team performed and then they gave you passport for all the different gymnastic events.

Friend Time: I went to a baby shower and afterwards I got to spend time with my good ol' pal Emily Brown. Dustin took Chloe to see UP ("the balloon movie")she really liked it.

Date Night: My brother and sister in law watched the girls so we could go shopping and to Olive Garden. Best part was Kelda did a mini photo-shoot with Lilah.

To Grandmother's house we go...: We got some Tito's and ate it my grandma's. It was nice to spend time with her!

Santa Monica: We met up with Dustin's brother and fiancee and walked around the pier. We hadn't seen them since before Sutin's parents left on their mission.

Reagan's Birthday Festivites : For my niece's 3rd b-day we went to a Moon Jump Place, had lunch, and ended up with a tea party.

Cookin Class: Chloe had her first cooking class and loved it- she made blueberry pancakes.

Okay so needless to say we've been busy. busy.
